Hello! My name is Kamia Acoba. As a queer, mixed kid of color, growing up with the complexities of self identity and acceptance has influenced the type of films I love to create. I want to portray stories and characters that resonate with people who aren’t always seen in media so that they can feel connected. Editing and storytelling are at the forefront of how we experience movies and I try to emphasize the character/story developments through editing.
